Creating outstanding interior is not an easy task. The point is that, it has to correspond to the customer’s individual needs and aesthetic preferences. A well-designed room is in line with its function and its forming harmony with the principles of art and design. My name is Kamila Sitak – I am an interior architect and painter, and my passion for art permeates every project I undertake. I create interiors where paintings become an integral part of the space, with their beauty accentuated by carefully designed lighting.
Understanding the subtle relationships between light and artwork led me to delve into the intricacies of professional art lighting. In my projects, I turn to solutions from companies such as ERCO and Delta Light, renowned for their precise lighting systems that create atmosphere and highlight details, making each painting unique. A key aspect for me is the use of lighting with a high Color Rendering Index (CRI), ensuring faithful color reproduction and subtle nuances of painterly texture. Additionally, by using techniques like the wallwash effect, I can evenly illuminate the surface of the painting, eliminating shadows and emphasizing details. Special attention is given to lighting dark oil paintings, where carefully chosen light angles prevent unwanted reflections and glare, allowing the artwork to be admired without visual distractions.
Every space I design is a harmonious blend of architecture, art, and light. This approach allows me to create interiors where works of art not only adorn the space but also breathe with their full artistic expression.

Design Process
I’m often ask what is what we interior designers do and how the process works. Yes the work is about picking curtains and cushions but there is a little more than that. The most important point is to work closely with the client alongside architects, craftsmen, artists, and builders. The goal is to put harmony in between clients expectations, ergonomics, space functions, and aesthetics needs.
Research
Work begins when I hear your idea. We get together over a coffee to define your visions. We will decide the scope of work , your goals, how you want things to function and how you want to feel. We will go over your routines and needs to make sure your space works with you in harmony.
Design
I want your place to be beautiful in form and genius in function. I present my ideas through the selection of flashcards, sketches, and visualizations. I workshop my visions with you in order to make sure we are all happy before moving to next stage. At the end of this stage you will be provided all documents with detailed technical drawings.
Build
I send drawings to tender and facilitate negotiations with builders and suppliers acting as your agent. I made changes if necessary and push for the best possible outcome in your budget. I take on the construction admin role. I curate the collection of furniture, art, and accessories to infuse your personality in the space that will create your life.
